WinZip Courier

It is a well known fact that large files and emails don't go well together. With most email services, attachments are restricted to a certain size and most email clients don't have much to offer in this regard. If you wish to send large files via email, without interacting with your cloud folder too much, then you should turn your attention to WinZip Courier. Besides sending large files through a mail client, the application enables you to compress attachments, encrypt them and much more.

WinZip Courier is compatible with various MS Outlook versions, as well as Yahoo Mail, Windows Live Hotmail and Google Mail. Furthermore, it can be installed as a browser extension, on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. WinZip Courier can be installed in less than a minute and it takes only a few clicks to complete the procedure.

Once installed, WinZip Courier will add new options in MS Outlook and other mail clients. You can access its general configurations menu through your preferred mail application or by running an executable. The extension's core functions can be found when composing a new email message. Instead of using the mail client's default Attach option, you can choose from a wide variety of attachment tools, located on the same window.

The available options can be used to zip and attach files or attach large files, from local folders. WinZip Courier can be linked to various cloud folders, like Box, CloudMe, DropBox, Google Drive and others. If you link the application to one or more cloud services, you will be able to attach files to your emails directly from your cloud folders. If you attach large files from local folders, the application will compress and upload them to the cloud automatically, before sending the email. Your contacts will receive download links for each file.

If you attach one or more files the traditional way, you can still select an option to compress all attachments. Protecting the files is another possibility. You can encrypt all attachments immediately, just by clicking a button. The application allows you to choose a Legacy, 128-bit or 256-bit AES encryption protocol, in its general settings menu. Additionally, you may convert the attached images and documents to PDF, watermark them and resize images.
